Positive Side of Immigration

Indians skilled workers in Sweden tops the list with the median value of total earned income in year 2022 based on SCB (Statistikmyndigheten).

Interesting to see countries outside EU from this list which shows positive effects from skilled immigration who pay income taxes and their employer pays social taxes.

The reasons to post this: When I came to Sweden in 2017 as a highly qualified engineer with a decent salary, most Swedish neighbors in my apartment or in shops, roads, saw me and talked to me as if I am a refugee and living on people’s taxpayer money.

Even when we tried to register in Arbetsförmedlingen in Karlstad for my wife, the case officer started talking about the benefits of Refugee and asylum when they first met us.

This narrative needs to be changed and can only be changed when people start to talk about positive effects and how immigration contributes to the NATION BUILDING of Sweden.

Sweden media houses, newspapers that publish articles in Swedish should show the positive effects of immigration on society.

SVT is a public funded media house from taxpayers’ money, and hopefully, they will talk about the positive side of immigration and create awareness among people in Sweden.
