Folktandvården Dental Insurance (Abonnemangstandvård)

Most people in Sweden are unaware about this dental insurance! Yes, Folktandvården (Public Dental Care) offers a Dental Insurance known as abonnemangstandvård.

How to Get This:

  1. Visit your nearest Folktandvården and fix an appointment with a dentist.
  2. After the initial examination, they will recommend corrective actions, which you need to complete at your own expense.
  3. They will then provide a fixed fee for 3 years. Re-examination and a new fee setting occur after 3 years.

The fee can range from 60 Kr to 600 Kr/month depending on your teeth condition. For me, it is 153 Kr/month 😊.
